U. S. Army Roofing Repair and Replacement
Using our own self-perform crews and selected subcontractors, we completed 25 roofing projects for the U. S. Army in occupied buildings at Schofield Barracks, Fort Shafter, Wheeler Army Airfield, and Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. Throughout the contract, we met critical schedules and adjusted our work to accommodate the Army’s ongoing operational needs and building occupants.
Our work included roofing a 52,000 square foot building and receiving Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) ratings of Exceptional for management and regulatory compliance and Very Good for quality and schedule. We received similar CPARS ratings for other tasks under this contract.
Roofing types included aluminum roofing panels, ribbed fiberglass panels, composition strip shingles, mineral surface built-up roofing, and clay tile roofing. We also removed hazardous materials, such as asbestos and lead paint, provided steel fabrication and sheet metal work, replaced damaged wood framing, and replaced or reinstalled solar panels, skylights, and exhaust fans.
