Deryl Wright

Chief Executive Officer

 

As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Deryl Wright provides vision and leadership for the Hui Huliau family of companies in support of our mission to give back to the Native Hawaiian community.  

 

Deryl brings over 30 years of successful corporate leadership experience to the organization, including 20 years leading Federal contracting companies. Prior to his current role, Deryl served as the CEO of Fort Sill Apache Industries, the Owner/CEO of Tessada & Associates, Inc., and the CEO of Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. (CNI), where he led the business to grow organically from eight employees and $1M annual revenue to over 2500 employees and $274M annual revenue.  Deryl also served as the CIO for the Chickasaw Nation and in various leadership roles in commercial companies.

 

Deryl was an original founder of the Native American Contractors Association (NACA). He holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Columbus University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive Education program. He is a former member of the Center for MIS Studies (CMISS), an interdisciplinary research center located in the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma. Deryl served honorably in the United States Air Force.
